See All ReviewsClassic hole in the wall type place, but don't let the look deceive you. The food here is excellent, and their menudo is the best restaurant menudo I have ever had. The owner stated that due to rising costs on honeycomb tripe, she had to substitute some of the honeycomb tripe for regular beef to avoid raising the price of the dish. This has resulted in the menudo being a bit meatier than normal, but this by no means ruins the taste. It is still an excellent dish, and if I ever find myself in San Antonio again, I will be stopping here. Came here last week and only now have the time to leave a review.
Very cozy, homey little cafe' with great Mexican food! The chiliquiles breakfast tacos were outstanding! I felt like we were eating breakfast with a very friendly family!
Absolutely loved this place! The authentic Mexican food was incredible full of flavor and truly a hidden gem. Maribel provided outstanding service and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
